CESSIT European Course in November (25 hours)

Aims
The CESSIT course intends to:
• promote the importance of lifelong learning for adult trainers.
• improve pedagogical approaches of adult educators and the attractiveness and effectiveness of adult training.
• diminish adult educators resistance to the daily use of new pedagogical methods and tools.
By participating in the courses you will also have the opportunity to meet other European professionals interested in promoting the development of creative skills and entrepreneurial spirit among their learners

Methodology
The course in organized in 6 modules and the effective training time is 25 hours. The modules are delivered by experienced international trainers. Given the objective of the course, its target group and thematic covered; the methodology applied includes various techniques to actively involve course participants.
Besides being presented with the theoretical aspects of each topic, the participants will have a chance to “test” numerous games, pedagogical methods and interactive techniques designed to promote creative skills and entrepreneurial spirit.

Cancellation Fee: 120 €

Cancellation rules:
In case any inconvenient may arise and avoid applicants to participate, they will notify it within at least 15 days before the beginning of the course (letter of commitment to be signed by participants). After this deadline the applicants will pay the cancellation fee

Innovact Campus Awards – for young students!

If you are a student with a creative and innovative idea for a business project, you can, with a team or individually, take part in the 10th edition of the Innovact Campus Award. The aim of this European competition is to reward new and challenging projects. Your project can either be in its design stage, in progress or already launched.”

Participate!! – All students can take part in the competition either individually or within the framework of their institution.

National Seminar – CESSIT highlighted!

“Innovation for Adult Education” was the theme of the National Seminar held the past November 23rd, in Portugal. Gathering over 50 participants, all of them having theme related professional experience, the event purpose was to present different opportunities and results from european initiatives, with a special focus on the CESSIT project.

The participants also had the chance to network and exchange experiences among them and were offered relevant products developed under CESSIT, namely the Guidelines for European Trainers and Managers.  Participants were pleased about the overall experience and feedback was positive – “Very intersting projects as a good alternative for adult education and training”. We hope to see you again in a nearby future!

 

 

Creativity e-Learning Course – it’s free!

Did you miss the oportunity to participate in the workshops on creativity and entrepreneurship? Or do you “simply” want to learn methods and techniques to develop  these skills? If you answered yes to any these questions, then we are sure the next information is for you!

The CESSIT project will be implementing  very soon, in November, a 12-hour e-Learning course focused just on creativity. And it is completely FREE!

The programme will include a brief presentation on some theoritical concepts, followed by some tools that can be used to increase creativity at work (like “out of the box”, “635 method”, etc) and then what can be used  to develop creative skills (like “inductive and deductive thinking”, “transformation”, etc).

Promoting creativity and entrepreneurship…

On its quest to promote the importance of creativity and entrepreneurship, the CESSIT project has been recently presented at three different conferences. This is also a great way to present the project results and most importantly some of the techniques and methods that can be used to foster creativity and entrepreneurship.

Creativity and Entrepreneurship at work in Latvia!

After several months of preparation, the CESSIT European Seminar finally took place in Riga from 14th to 16th of September. Attended by a total of 35 persons from 7 different European countries, the participants had the chance to explore different techniques and methods for promoting creativity and entreneurship skills among adult early school leavers.

During the 3-day seminar, the participants also had a chance to understand the concepts of creativity and entrepreneurship and to discuss and exchange ideas on how to improve the education of such skills in the future.

Mixing theory and pratical examples, the seminar reached its objectives by motivating the sharing of experiences between adult trainers and training managers on the importance of fostering creativity and entrepreneurship.
